About Texas Horsemen's Partnership

Working for Texas Horsemen.

Strengthening Texas Racing.

Texas Horsemen’s Partnership (THP) is the recognized voice of horse owners and trainers participating in pari-mutuel racing across Texas. We exist to represent the people whose horses, businesses, livelihoods, and passion form the foundation of Texas horse racing.

THP works on behalf of Texas horsemen to protect their interests, provide essential services, and help create a strong, competitive racing environment in our state. We serve as a vital connection between horsemen, racetracks, racing organizations, and regulatory bodies—bringing the perspective and priorities of owners and trainers to the table on issues that affect racing today and its future.

But our mission extends beyond representation. THP is committed to supporting the people who make Texas racing possible. Through horsemen's services, industry resources, education, communication, and advocacy, we help owners, trainers, and racing professionals navigate the business of racing and stay connected to the information and resources they need.

Texas has a proud and diverse horse racing tradition encompassing Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Arabians, and Paints. THP is committed to bringing horsemen together across breeds and racetracks around a common purpose: supporting Texas horsemen, strengthening our racing industry, and helping ensure a vibrant future for horse racing in the Lone Star State.
