Employment Type: Full-Time

The Texas Horsemen’s Partnership is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and dedicated professional to serve as Executive Director. This position provides leadership for the organization while overseeing its administration and relationships with members, industry partners, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a trusted, professional representative of the racing industry with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership and administration of the organization.
Implement policies and directives established by the Board of Directors.
Represent the organization at meetings and within the Texas horse racing and horsemen’s community.
Maintain productive relationships with racetracks, horsemen, industry organizations, regulatory agencies, legislative contacts, and other stakeholders.
Maintain organizational records, contracts, correspondence, and official documents.

Qualifications- Preferred

Experience in the horseracing industry and/or high level of industry knowledge.
Experience in nonprofit or association administration, or executive management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in horse racing, equine, agricultural, nonprofit, or membership-association environment.
Experience with Texas regulatory and industry organizations.
Comfortable working with Board members and industry professionals
